Today was Noah's first birthday. It was hard to know that we're missing it. We had a little birthday party for him. We just put a candle in a piece of cake and sang Happy Birthday to his picture, but it was still nice to do something. And, of course, Jaden was very excited to celebrate.

We were supposed to get together with Linda and the girls today, but Jaden was really miserable last night. He was up about 15 times in the middle of the night. One of the times, he actually threw up on me - I think it was just because he was gagging on phlegm, though. Scott slept in his room all night. And today, he ended up having a fever. We didn't want Linda's kids to get sick, especially Krista (since she just recently had her tonsils out).

So, today mostly ended up being a day at home with sick kids. I did go to drama workshop this morning, though. And we stopped at the picnic at Jaden's school for about a half an hour.
