Jaden was so cute today. He was looking at pictures that Scott had brought back from work - showing me each one and telling me about it. Most of them were of him, but there was one of our wedding. He said, "Mommy, this is a picture of you and Daddy when you got married! You should bring me here because I never seen you when you got married." It was so cute. Scott said, "Jaden, do you want to see a movie of when Mommy and Daddy got married?" Jaden's face totally lit up - he was so excited!

So, we all sat down and watched the movie. While Scott and I were saying our vows, Jaden said, "There's too much talking going on in this movie." We all laughed so hard! It was nice to see the video again, though. During the song that I wrote for Scott, my mom, Scott and Lisa all cried!

In the morning, I went to drama workshop. In the evening, Mom and I went to Kohls and I got a couple of really cute sweaters for really cheap!

Today was a very good day. We got our dossier sent out! Scott made the copies this morning, and I went and picked them up. Then, we met at a mail place at lunchtime and got our passport size pictures taken. Afterward, we all went to Portillos and had a celebratory lunch! It was really nice. Jaden has amazed us with his memory lately. While we were eating, he said, "I had these hot dogs at Grandma Hewitt's." At first we weren't sure what he meant, but then I remembered that we went to the Portillo's by Scott's parents' over the summer! I can't believe he remembered that! He really loved his hot dog, though. He gobbled it up. Then, at dinner, we had corn and he said, "I want my corn rolled up." We had no idea what he was talking about, but then he said, "Like I had on my birthday." Corn on the cob! Once again, I can't believe that he remembered that we had corn on the cob for his birthday. I swear, he has the best memory!

Danielle was being a stinker pot this evening. She was being really fussy and in the evening, she was crying because I took away her crayons. She cried for a full five minutes - you could tell that she was totally forcing herself to keep crying, but she wouldn't stop. Finally, I had to put her up in her crib. After a few minutes, she decided that it wasn't worth it to keep crying anymore. Such a crab!

She's talking so much more lately, though. It's really cute to hear her talk about things around her. She points at things and names them now - "flower" "book" "bone" - she also says "Dora" when she hears Dora talk. And, at night, she folds her little hands and says, "Amen" after we pray - so cute!

Today was Jaden's first day of school after the holiday. It felt so weird to bring him back again. I spent the kids' nap time working on my scrapbook pages and finished them. It felt so good to do some more scrapbooking finally. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to do my next pages.

Today, we took the kids to the Kohl Children's Museum. It was really busy, but since we had the membership, we were able to go in a special line and only had to wait a few minutes. That was definitely nice. The museum was really cool - it had a neat water room and a music room and a bunch of other cool things as well. We had a lot of fun and the kids really seemed to enjoy it.

After the museum, we came home and all took a nap - then we watched "Home on the Range" and ate popcorn. Tonight, Scott played video games while I wrote in my journal. :-)

We didn't manage to get up in time for 9 AM church, so we went to the 11:15 service. I really enjoyed the service - It was about making "New Year's resolutions" (but God-centered ones). I really liked the service a lot. I would really like to try and pray about these things.

After the service, we went to a really good pancake restaurant right near church. The food was so good!

My mom came over after church, so Scott and I were able to get the Christmas decorations taken down and the house a bit more organized. I'm sure it won't last long! :-)
